The awning is a “Caravan Store”. It’s a simple awning which does everything any other awning does but for half the price. Sure it’s not the most robust awning on the market, but for something that you can put up and take down in seconds it isn’t much of an issue. The Caravan Store seems to tick the box of what an awning is all about. It keeps the sun and rain off your head. It comes with its own water proof bag too.

The Fiamma Caravanstore awning offers a convenient and realistically priced alternative to the traditional caravan awning. The Fiamma Caravanstore can be fitted as required or secured permanently. The awning rolls neatly away into a soft vinyl zippered case and the awning bag slides into a rope track on your Caravan. After unzipping the bag, you manually roll out the awning and your ready to go.

It’s got a few features that aren’t available on some other awnings. I particularly like the shock absorber system that fits the awning to the caravan; it just means that when the wind gets up it won’t fall apart. The awning also has a great locking mechanism keeping the roof tension perfect throughout our trip.

I decided to get it online because I’d have a chance to scour the market looking for a fair price. Fiamma awnings are really good value, they’re not the cheapest out there but I think I got some really good quality kit for a relatively bargain price.
